HOME: Pea Coat So you are looking to purchase the Classic Military Pea Coat. Well you came to the right "page" for your new Pea Coat. Lets start by explaining the following about my favorite military coat. Wheater you are wearing the classey jacket over your tux, or with the collar There are three different Catagories we like to put our pea coats into: 1) Made in the USA - Brand New - straight from the factory (which makes it for the US Navy) 2) Imported and Styled after the original - these are lower cost duplications of the real deal and are still very nice. 3) Vintage - these are preloved jackets that we source from all over the world, to protect our customers we break Near New (this is a preowed jacket that looks and feels almost new) Materials: Most of the Made in the USA and Vintage Pea coats carry the best Wool, and some mix a little nylon to help when it is snowing WE DO NOT SELL ANY IMPORTED JACKETS MADE WITH DOG HAIR - like some of our nice competetors do. For Those Who Desire the Original and the Best... All of our Peacoats are heavy-duty and long wearing. Our Authentic model is the only true reproduction of the U.S. Government-issued Peacoat available on the market today. The quality and craftmanship of our garments is far superior to that of the lightweight, department store variety, as well as, the poorly made, foreign imports. Simply put, there is no other peacoat available today that rivals our Pea Coats.
The size charts above are provided as a guide to help you in determining which size peacoat to buy. Generally speaking peacoats run tight across the chest and back. Our recommendation is that you upsize one size from what you are accustomed to wearing (i.e. if you usually wear a 38 regular suit coat, or your chest measures 38 inches, then you should order a 40 regular peacoat.)
